Am searching for information pertaining to Joseph HECHT. He was born in 1826 in Bavaria and married Anna FLEISCHMANN. He had 4 sisters born in Germany. The family emigrated to America and settled in Monroe County, Michigan. Barbara Hecht married Ludwig STEGER; Sophia Hecht married Johan Philip RIES; Elisabeth Hecht married Johann MENTEL; and Magdalena Hecht married Joseph Giesretter.

We are searching for substantiation of Andrew Charles SCHURR moving to Gratiot County from Saginaw (?) around 1850-60s settled in Wheeler /Breckenridge area or maybe originally Porter Twnshp, Midland Co We have tin type picture of him in Saginaw Fire Dept. uniform. Believe he is buried in Saginaw. His son Charles (wife - Eda Alward?) and others are buried in Breckenridge. Charles had at least one farm in Wheeler Township. We believe Andrew's wife was a MOSIER but we are unsure of spelling. Would appreciate any information.

Seeking any/all info on Michael MENSHARDT and wife, Christina BAUERLA. This family enumerated in 1860 census of St. Charles Twp., Saginaw Co., MI. Children Listed were: Rosina, age 7, born N.Y., Louisa, age 6, born N.Y., Barbary, age 5, born N.Y., Lenna, age 3, born N.Y., and Michael,age 1, born N.Y.. From the age of young Michael, this family probably settled in St. Charles Twp. circa 1859. Possible parents of Christina: Giles BAUERLA, and Christina SCHWARZ. Michael, Giles, Christina all born Germany. Christina, w/o Michael, born N.Y. circa 1831. Rosina MENSHARDT married Austin ASELTINE / AZELTON and Barbary MENSHARDT married David ASELTINE / AZELTON. I am looking for information on Margaret TALLMAN that died in Saginaw 26 Aug 1874 age 114. Her obit in Saginaw Evening News gave very little family info.She died in eighth ward and was taken to the Catholic church and cem. Saginaw City. Is there any church records that would give me more info on her? Obit said she had seven children, I know only one, Henry of Cheboygan. I have lots of info on Henry and family that I will share.

Looking for any SHADDEAU'S-spelling may vary. Need any information on John and Elizabeth SHADDEAU. John was b.? in Canada d..6/28/1879 in Saginaw,MI. Elizabeth was b.1823 in Canada and d.3/14/1895 in Saginaw. Her parents were John C. KING and Jane LEROY. They moved down to Saginaw,MI from Canada sometime before 1870. They had 8 children-John E.,Delilah, Francis,Oliver,Stephen G.,Charles James,Dominick H.,and Louis Napoleon. All children were b. between 1843-1863.
