Sources such as County Birth Records, State of Michigan Birth Records, Death Record, Baptismal or Christening Certificate, Obituaries, Newspaper Birth Announcements, Military Records or Pensions, Bible records, etc. A census does give a full birth date and are not considered reliable.

Surname: Last name entry must be at least 3 letters long and should only contain letters or a '. Form Given: This must also be filled out with at least 3 letters. Form Middle: Enter a middle name or initial here if applicable, but it is not necessary. Form Birth Date: Write out the birth date using full month names and not numbers so it is clear what the month and day are. This is required and must be before 1906 to protect the identity of the living that is so endangered today. If a person is deceased and their date of birth was after 1906, please note it in the field marked Source or Notes. Form County: Pick a county for your record from the drop down list. If you do not know the county your homework on this person is not done, and the record will not be accepted. Form Submitter: This is where your name goes. At least 3 letters are required here.
