Full Report	Accident 24 - Mike Benich and John Fayino - timbermen working at the 15th level of No. 1 Shaft Tamarack Mine - were killed by a fall of vein rock - Michael Michelchick receiving a compound fracture of the right leg and two others being slightly injured. The gang with which they worked had been prying down loose vein rock. They had finished this and after dinner were engaged in putting up some timbers when a large piece of vein rock fell with the above mentioned result. An inquest was held by Coroner Macdonald and the jury returned the verdict: That deceased came to their death by the accidental falling of vein rock at the 15th level south of No. 1 Shaft Tamarack Mine on the 12th day of September 1895.
