Rev. Nathaniel Dickey

Methodist Episcopal Church Minister of Ontario and Michigan

Baptisms and Marriages 1871 to 1916

Rev. Nathaniel Dickey became a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church in Canada in April 1867 in Ontario, Canada. He practiced in Ontario until he moved to Michigan in October of 1883. His personal ledger book begins records in 1871 listing baptisms and marriages he performed in Ontario until the fall of 1883. In October of 1883 he and his family moved to Michigan and records begin then and continue to 1916.

This is the original ledger kept by Rev. Dickey and was found in a store in New York for sale. It also had family material that he and his family had kept, such as funeral cards, a copy of what the family bible contained for births and deaths etc., various obituaries and articles from and about his family. The family tree has been started here to help people who may be descendants of his parents. All records of the Reverend's have been included and initial records that I could easily find have been added with the source.

Note: I am not related to this family in any way and can not answer questions beyond what I have found already.
